Through fundraising events and donations from individuals and businesses, the Foundation seeks to provide grants that further creativity, innovation, and excellence in Somerset and Berkley schools.
The Foundation aims to enhance and enrich the education experience for all students by empowering and supporting teachers and staff and their projects and programs.
The Foundation is dedicated to securing funding for innovative educational projects and programs with support from both communities, partnering with each district, and funding initiatives falling outside school budgets.
The purpose is to enrich the commitments of both communities to quality education. We aim to fund projects and initiatives that enrich and bring the curriculum alive, supplement educators’ work, and inspire our students to inquire, adapt, persevere, and innovate.
The Foundation recognizes that Somerset Public Schools, Somerset Berkley Regional High School, and the Berkley Public Schools are the responsible overseers of public education in their communities and will work collaboratively with each district and community to meet their goals.
The Foundation may cooperate or contract with Somerset Public Schools, Somerset Berkley Regional High School, and the Berkley Public Schools, other nonprofit or for-profit agencies, organizations, and entities to perform, promote, or otherwise advance our educational and charitable purposes.
